I just received a response from a heavy hitter who just signed up after digging more into the zCreditCards Affiliate Program.

“What is the difference between the zCredit Cards Affiliate Program and many of the scammy MLM programs?”

Many people have reservations when it comes to promoting products that pay on a multi level like MLM.  Because of the huge buy-ins that take years of hard work before receiving any profits.. (if any)

Multi-tier programs are often considered “pyramid” – because Aunt Mary has to buy $100 bottles of magic froo-froo juice… and ends up filling up her garage.

However, the zCreditCards Affiliate Program is different, because no one pays for anything. This is probably (if not definitely) the only multi-tier affiliate program where there is never anything for the affiliate to buy – AND nothing for the merchant to buy. Which gets us out of the “scammy” realm of magic juice, travel deals, and pills/potions.

WHERE DOES THE MONEY COME FROM?

Now, as for where the money comes from, it comes from the credit card processing fees.

For example, all of the major credit card processors charge merchants a % on credit/debit card transactions. This company (doing $40+ billion per year in transaction, so by no means new to the industry… just using a new affiliate model) makes it’s money on the profits built into these fees.

That’s where the 20% is coming from.

You see, PROFITS on credit/debit card processing fees have gotten smaller (since the financial meltdown), because people are taking out their frustrations on credit card companies. This is making it hard to impossible for full-time sales reps to earn a living schlepping new merchant accounts. However, there’s still BILLIONS in profits in fees from existing merchants.

So, for example, let’s say that Merchant A, a restaurant, is paying $2,000 per month in credit/debit card transaction fees.

Now, $1,000 of that might be profit to our processor. So every month, from this merchant, they’re pocketing $1,000.

NOW – to grow – they had to add merchants. They have 30K accounts currently… processing $40 billion… but their plan is to grow to 300K accounts in the next 3 years.

So they decided to GIVE BACK some of these $1,000 in profits to merchants – as incentive to move to this processor.

NOW the processor gives the merchant 20% of the $1,000 (or $200) per month… and only keeps $800 profit. Still good.

How about affiliates? They’re paid out of the remaining $800 in profit.

Heck, they could give away $500 or more of this remaining profit… and still be golden, because most of this monthly profit IS actual profit. In fact, the biggest cost these co’s have is usually acquiring the account in the first place. However, with this new system, the cost of acquiring the account is minimal (no salaried sales rep on commission)… and they only pay out a % of converted accounts.

So ultimately, its a win/win/win deal all around… for the affiliate, the merchant, AND the processor.

Hence, why they’ve patented this – so other processors won’t be able to duplicate this exactly. (I say “exactly”, because with the squeeze these companies are feeling, more and more are moving to either primarily affiliate-based marketing OR completely affiliate based.)

The multi-tier is the “mental block” that most have. Even I had, at first. But once I realized it was just a deeper affiliate program… and there’s no juices or money paid in by affiliates, it’s just exactly like a 2-tier affiliate program… only paying more out of the company’s profits per sale.
